Make More Genuine Connections at the ACFE Global Fraud Conference

Genuine isn’t often used to describe networking. For some people, networking can prompt uneasy thoughts of a business dress code and coerced conversation at a poorly-lit event center (over ham-and-cheese sandwiches and bad wine). But networking doesn’t have to be dreaded and forced (and sometimes the wine is good!). There are ways to truly connect with people professionally, personally and on more levels than exchanging job responsibilities. Quality, genuine networking is about building trust and authenticity with new and old colleagues and acquaintances.

We know that there is no better time to build new and exciting relationships than when you are relaxed and able to be yourself. This is why we have planned networking events at the 26th Annual ACFE Global Fraud Conference that you won’t see anywhere else.

This year’s ACFE Global Fraud Conference will showcase these networking events:

  • Membership Orientation | Sunday, June 14, 6:30-7 p.m. in Room 301-303
New ACFE members and non-members attending the annual conference are invited to attend a special membership orientation before the welcome reception. You will have the opportunity to meet many colleagues and ACFE associates who will share insights on how to get the most out of your membership.
  • Welcome Reception | Sunday, June 14, 7-9 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall
The Welcome Reception is the perfect opportunity for you to meet vendors while getting a sneak peek at the latest anti-fraud services available. Refreshment and light hors d'oeuvres will be served.
  • ACFE Foundation Networking Reception | Tuesday, June 16, 5-6 p.m. at the Baltimore Convention Center, Level 300
This event is complimentary for all attendees and is a wonderful way to build your professional and social circle after Tuesday’s educational sessions.
  • ACFE Night at Camden Yards | Tuesday, June 16
Catch up with your coworkers or meet new colleagues at Camden Yards Stadium while watching the Baltimore Orioles take on the Philadelphia Phillies. Tickets are only $10*.
  • General Session Networking Tables
During the General Sessions you will be able to gather with attendees from your industry at reserved tables throughout the room. Take advantage of this easy way to meet new people from around the globe that share your professional interests.

Whether you prefer a semi-professional setting within the Exhibit Hall (with wonderful drinks and hors d'oeuvres) at the Welcome Reception or would rather relax with a baseball game, cold beer and fellow conference attendees at the ACFE Night at Camden Yards, there is a perfect networking opportunity for you. See you soon!

*A limited number of tickets are available. There is an additional 10% service charge per ticket. For questions or accessible seating, please call (888) 848-BIRD and ask for the Ticket Services Team.
